Hello everyone!

 

 Preparations for the 20th Annual Convention are coming along great! We want to remind everyone to get your Convention Registration form mailed in as soon as possible and don’t forget to make your Hotel Reservations, please.

Waco Hilton Hotel or the Marriott Hotel Reservations 

 

Members if you have not made your room reservation with the Hilton or the Marriott Hotel yet, please do. Remember you are reserving the room but you are not paying for it until the day the event starts, this is a huge help to our Hosts.

 

A special room rate of $109.00 plus tax per night has been arranged with the Waco Hilton and $105.00 plus tax per night at the Marriott Courtyard. Make sure to tell the hotel you are with the Texas Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association Convention 2012 so you will get the special rate. You can visit them online at www.hilton.com/waco or call them at 254-754-8484. Or you can visit www.marriott.com/waco or call them at 254 752-8686. Reservations must be made by July 6, 2012 in order to receive the special convention rate.

Registrants are responsible for hotel reservations and cancellations.

Don’t Forget

Delegate Alternate Form

 

Members, “Delegate Alternate Form” from the TCPAAA Policies and Procedure Manual is going to assist Alumni’s that sometimes do not have a sworn officer in attendance at the State Convention Delegates meeting for voting rights.   Please see the attachment and if you have any questions please let us know.

 

 

Exhibit Hall Information

 

FIRST time ever, you don’t want to miss this opportunity…. Waco has offered FREE Registration for the exhibit hall space to the first 30 registrants. Exhibit Hall Table (one table, 2 chairs) 10x10 area, electricity in booth fee - $30 if needed

TCPAAA will award a cash prize for 1st and 2nd Place for Best in Show, so show off Alumni’s and raise $$ for your organization.

 

 

General Information

 

The class schedule for the 2012 State Convention is work in progress with a list of classes that I’m sure everyone will be excited to attend. Check out the website http://tcpaaconvention.org for updates. At this time there is “Tentative List of Subjects” and a “Tentative Schedule of Events”. As classes are confirmed the website will be updated, so please keep checking back.
